We're really looking forward to our annual Celebration of Volunteering Awards ceremony on Thursday evening. It is one of the stand-out events in the University calendar, and always guaranteed to make us feel proud. Proud of the commitment our staff, students, alumni and local community show for the betterment of everyone in Reading and the wider world. Ahead of this year's showpiece event we wanted to share a video, which features Mahnoor Fatima, one of the Student Volunteer of the Year Award winners in 2025. What a hero. As we celebrate our centenary, it is heartening to see the important role that students like Mahnoor play in the lives of people right across our society.
