Team Alula 🤝 Professor Ed Hawkins It's not everyday that we get to showcase a crossover between one of the most influential sporting figures on the planet and one of our academic community. But today is that day! Team AlUla, the E1 World Championship electric powerboat racing team, championed by Lebron James have joined the call to #ShowYourStripes ahead of Show Your Stripes Day on 20 June, by emblazoning their incredible E1 Racebird with the world-famous climate stripes. Unveiling their stripes, which were created at University of Reading by Professor Ed Hawkins, this weekend in Dubrovnik, Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James finished on the podium as the NBA icon arrived in Croatia to cheer on his team.
