Two extraordinary teams are about to take part in the world's toughest rowing race - around the whole of Great Britain. Along the way, they'll collect data on microplastics, biodiversity, ocean temperature and underwater noise, helping researchers better understand the health of our coastal waters. The GB Row Challenge is a remarkable event which shows how endurance sport, scientific research and environmental stewardship can come together to make a real impact. The data will be shared on The Crown Estate's Marine Data Exchange, an open-access resource which is one of the world's largest collections of marine industry data.
