A local volunteer group has spent decades raising over $2M for cancer research! 🔬 The Maitland Cancer Appeal Committee runs an op shop and linen service to raise funds for research in the Newcastle and Hunter region. This week, founding members Lesley and Ingrid donated $200,000 to support ovarian cancer research with Professor Nikola Bowden and bowel cancer research with Associate Professor Gerard Kaiko, PhD.
