Currently serving as Associate Professor at the University of Rwanda, Professor Chinene brings over a decade of experience in radiography education, clinical training, and student mentorship across Zimbabwe and Rwanda. His scholarship includes over 60 peer-reviewed publications, with a specific focus on the mental health and wellness of radiography students, clinical placement experiences, and workplace factors impacting student well-being. He also serves on the editorial boards of numerous journals, including the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (JMIRS) and the Rwandan Journal of Medicine and Health Sciences (RJMHS).
