What a day it's been at Essex Graduation, and a real highlight was awarding Beth Barrett-Wild an Honorary Doctorate. Beth is a pioneering leader in women's sport, paving the way for the next generation of women and girls pursuing their sporting passions. As Director of Women’s Professional Game at the England & Wales Cricket Board, Beth helped deliver the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which became the biggest tournament in its history.
