An Essex academic will be helping the European Union to assess the risks and impacts of artificial intelligence. Professor Haris Mouratidis, Director of the The Institute for Analytics and Data Science (IADS) at Essex, is one of the independent experts appointed to the European Union’s AI Act Scientific Panel.
