🎭 150 Jahre Bayreuther Festspiele – die Universität Bayreuth feiert mit! Zum Jubiläum der Bayreuther Festspiele lädt die Professur für Musikwissenschaft der Universität Bayreuth gemeinsam mit dem Richard-Wagner-Museum vom 9. bis 11. Juli 2026 zu einem besonderen Programm ein. Die internationale Tagung „Festspiele! Gestern – Heute – Morgen“ im Haus Wahnfried verbindet wissenschaftliche Perspektiven auf die Festspielgeschichte mit aktuellen und zukünftigen Entwicklungen. Ein besonderes Highlight: die studentische Uraufführung „Plötzlich Walküre!“ im neueröffneten Friedrichsforum. To mark the 150th anniversary of the Bayreuth Festival, the Chair of Musicology at the University of Bayreuth, in cooperation with the Richard Wagner Museum, is hosting a special program from July 9–11, 2026. The international conference “Festival! Yesterday – Today – Tomorrow” at Haus Wahnfried will bring together scholars to reflect on the past, present, and future of festival culture. A particular highlight will be the student world premiere of “Suddenly Valkyrie!” at the newly opened Friedrichsforum.
