ضمن البرنامج الصيفي في المملكة المتحدة، واصل طلبة جامعة الذيد رحلتهم الأكاديمية والثقافية من خلال المشاركة في مجموعة من الأنشطة التي أسهمت في إثراء معارفهم وتعزيز خبراتهم الدولية. وشملت الفعاليات زيارة حدائق كيو الملكية في لندن للتعرف إلى جهود حفظ التنوع الحيوي والاستدامة البيئية، إلى جانب حضور بطولة Apsley Cup للبولو في Cirencester Polo Club، في تجربة أتاحت لهم الاطلاع على جانب من الثقافة والتراث البريطاني. واختُتم اليوم بمحاضرة علمية متخصصة قدمها المهندس الزراعي البريطاني Kit Franklin، أحد أبرز الخبراء في مجالات الزراعة الدقيقة والروبوتات الزراعية، حيث استعرض أحدث التقنيات الذكية ودور الأتمتة والطائرات المسيرة في تطوير القطاع الزراعي وتعزيز الاستدامة، وسط تفاعل مميز من الطلبة من خلال النقاشات وطرح الأسئلة. As part of the Summer Programme in the United Kingdom, students from University of Al Dhaid continued their academic and cultural journey through a variety of activities that enriched their knowledge and strengthened their international experience. The programme included a visit to Kew Gardens in London to explore biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability, as well as attending the Apsley Cup at Cirencester Polo Club, providing students with valuable insight into British culture and heritage. The day concluded with a specialized lecture by British agricultural engineer Kit Franklin, a leading expert in precision agriculture and agricultural robotics.
