🤝📚 UAF and PIPFA Join Hands to Strengthen Professional Education and Capacity Building The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) and the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to foster collaboration in professional education, capacity building, faculty development, and institutional strengthening. The agreement was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali and Mr. Usman Ahsan, President PIPFA, during a ceremony held at the Syndicate Committee Room, UAF. Through this collaboration, both institutions will work together to enhance professional competencies in accounting, finance, audit, governance, and public financial management. The partnership will also focus on professional certifications, training programs, faculty development initiatives, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for students and faculty members. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali emphasized that capacity building in accounting, finance, audit assurance, and public financial management is essential for promoting transparency, accountability, and effective project management. He noted that strong partnerships between academia and professional bodies are vital for equipping graduates with industry-relevant skills and practical expertise required in today's evolving professional landscape. Mr. Usman Ahsan reaffirmed PIPFA’s commitment to supporting UAF through faculty development, professional training, and academic collaboration, ensuring that educational programs remain aligned with contemporary professional standards and market demands.
