Congratulations to all members of UCL's community who have been recognised in the King's Birthday Honours 2026! Professor Richard Macrory (UCL Faculty of Laws) was made a Knight Bachelor for services to environmental law; Professor Sarah Tabrizi, MD PhD FMedSci FRS (UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology) and Professor Rose Luckin (UCL Knowledge Lab) were appointed Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to Huntington's disease and to education; Visiting Professor Stephen Munby (also UCL Institute of Education) was made a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to education; Dr Urshla (Oosh) Devalia (UCL Eastman Dental Institute) was appointed an OBE for services to children and young people’s oral health; and Dr Mark Stuart (UCL Division of Medicine) was made an OBE for services to the pharmacy profession in sport and to anti-doping.
