👨‍🎓👨‍⚖️ Congratulations to UCD graduate Séamus Clarke SC on his election as the new Chair of the Council of The Bar of Ireland. A graduate of UCD Sutherland School of Law, where he earned a Bachelor of Civil Law (International), Séamus later completed a Magister Juris in European and Comparative Law at the University of Oxford before qualifying as a barrister at The Honorable Society of King's Inns. From 2001 to 2019, he also served as Adjunct Professor of International Intellectual Property Law at the University of Tulsa Summer Law School, which was held annually at UCD. Séamus will assume the role of Chair on 14 September, following a distinguished career in public, constitutional and employment law, as well as arbitration and mediation.
