De Taïwan à l’UGA, pourquoi Grenoble accueille les futurs talents des semi-conducteurs ? 👀 Parce que le territoire est un pôle mondial de référence en microélectronique et semi-conducteurs. Dix étudiants taïwanais d’excellence ont rejoint le programme Taiwan Global Pathfinders Semiconductors, créé à l’initiative du BUREAU FRANCAIS DE TAIPEI. Sélectionnés parmi plus de 100 candidatures, ils découvrent pendant 2 semaines un écosystème unique.🔍 Au programme, rencontres avec des acteurs majeurs du territoire : Université Grenoble Alpes, CEA, CNRS, Grenoble INP - UGA, Grenoble Ecole de Management, ESRF - The European Synchrotron, EMBL, ILL - Institut Laue Langevin ou encore STMicroelectronics Soitec Schneider Electric   À l'UGA, ils ont découvert : ✅ La place centrale de l'université dans l'écosystème grenoblois et son rayonnement scientifique, ✅ Les services et dispositifs étudiants (sport de haut niveau, entrepreneuriat Pépite oZer, apprentissage du français CUEF - Centre Universitaire d'Etudes Françaises - Grenoble), ✅ Les opportunités de poursuite d’études en doctorat et de recherche, ✅ Notre expertise en microélectronique Laboratoire des Technologies de la Microélectronique - LTMLab, MIAI Cluster IA et cybersécurité CyberAlps.   Des échanges avec des doctorants ont illustré concrètement cet environnement collaboratif. Ten high-achieving Taiwanese students have joined the Taiwan Global Pathfinders Semiconductors program, initiated by the French Office in Taipei. Selected from more than 100 applications, they are spending two weeks discovering a unique ecosystem. 🔍 On the agenda: meetings with key players shaping the region’s innovation landscape such as Université Grenoble Alpes, CEA, CNRS, Grenoble INP-UGA, Grenoble École de Management, ESRF, EMBL, ILL, as well as STMicroelectronics, Soitec and Schneider Electric. At UGA, they discovered: ✅ The university’s central role within Grenoble’s ecosystem and its international scientific reputation, ✅ Student services and support programs (high-level sports, entrepreneurship through Pépite Ozer, French language learning through CUEF), ✅ Opportunities for pursuing a PhD and engaging in research, ✅ UGA’s expertise in microelectronics through LTM, AI through MIAI, and cybersecurity through CyberAlps. Discussions with doctoral students provided a concrete insight into this collaborative environment, where research, innovation and industry come together.
