Compartimos con orgullo la participación como panelista de la directora de nuestro departamento de Matemáticas y Física e investigadora principal del grupo Matemáticas y sus Aplicaciones (MA) de la Escuela Politécnica Nebrija, Mª Pilar Vélez, en el International Congress of Mathematicians. Se celebrará del próximo 23 al 30 de julio en Pennsylvania (Filadelfia, Estados Unidos) y congregará en torno a 5.000 matemáticos de todo el mundo para compartir sus últimos avances en investigación. Asimismo, uno de los momentos más esperados será el anuncio de los galardonados con la Medalla Fields, reconocimiento que equivale al Nobel de las Matemáticas. https://lnkd.in/es-zD_tE - We are proud to share that Mª Pilar Vélez, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Physics and Principal Investigator of the Mathematics and Its Applications (MA) Research Group at the Nebrija Polytechnic School, has been selected as a panellist at the International Congress of Mathematicians. The congress will take place from 23 to 30 July in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (United States), bringing together around 5,000 mathematicians from across the globe to present and discuss their latest research advances. One of the most highly anticipated moments of the event will be the announcement of the Fields Medal recipients, the world's most prestigious distinction in mathematics.
