On ANZAC Day, we pause to recognise the courage, resilience and sacrifice of those who have served in the Australian and New Zealand armed forces. The Spirit of the ANZACs continues to guide and inspire our communities today. This includes two of our team members, who shared their experiences with our people last week and reflected on what the day means to them. Their experiences are different, but their messages are similar: serving shapes how you approach teamwork, reliability and resilience long after the uniform is hung up. One team member spoke about the technical skills gained during seven years in the Army, and how taking time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy today is an important way to honour those who served. Another reflected on their time in the Army Reserve and the deep family legacy of military that has shaped their connection to the day, as well as the families and communities who supported those in uniform. Their stories are examples of the many connections people in our service region have to ANZAC Day, an opportunity to pause, reflect and show respect. #ANZACDay #Unitywater #Service #LestWeForget
