Celebrating 50 Years of Deadly. This NAIDOC Week, we honour five decades of celebrating the strength, resilience, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The 2026 theme, 50 Years of Deadly, recognises the: ➡️Elders who have guided generations ➡️Advocates who created space for First Nations voices ➡️Artists who continue to share culture and truth ➡️Communities who share these stories. While this milestone invites us to reflect on the journey so far, it also challenges us to look ahead. The Uniting WA Better Together First Nations Strategy reflects our commitment to walking alongside First Nations peoples in a practical and respectful way.
