Today we wrapped up Uniting Connections 2026, a Uniting Education National Conference; and what a remarkable gathering it has been. Over a day and a half, schools, colleges, principals, board members and chaplains from 17 entities across four Synods came together for the first national conversation on Uniting Church education in 17 years.  To quote our Executive Officer of Uniting Education in the Queensland Synod, Jon Moriarty: “It was a fantastic, truly glorious time bringing people together… the first collective national conversation in 17 years. The initial feedback has been fantastic – and we hope this is the first of many.” Grounded in faith, shaped by story, and focused on the future; this gathering has strengthened connections and sparked a shared vision for what comes next.
