What does it take to coordinate global air mobility operations across all seven continents? A team, a mission…and now? A new purpose-built operations center. 🌎 Completed after five years of construction, the new Joint Operations and Mission Planning Center centralizes key planning, command and control functions that support airlift, aerial refueling, aeromedical evacuation and worldwide transportation operations. By bringing nearly 1,000 personnel together in a single collaborative environment, the center enhances information sharing, operational coordination and mission effectiveness. The project reflects the combined efforts of military leaders, engineers, cyber specialists and industry partners working toward a common goal: strengthening the Joint Force’s ability to project power and provide support anywhere in the world. The JOMPC represents more than a new building. It reflects a continued investment in the people and capabilities that keep the Joint Force moving. 💪
