April is officially Earth Month, and at United Scrap Metal, we’re doing more than just talking about sustainability... we’re living it through our United in Sustainability initiative. As part of our year-round "United in Purpose" program, our team is trading their office gear for gardening gloves. During the week of April 20th, every one of our locations will be hosting Parks & Rec Days, engaging in local community clean-ups, tree planting and eco-friendly restoration projects. Whether it’s through industrial-scale recycling or local community service, we believe that being United in Purpose means leaving our communities better than we found them. For us, sustainability isn’t just what we do; it’s who we are.
