Darts 0.45.0 is out 🎯: making AI forecasting more transparent and accessible. At Unit8, we build Darts to help organizations go from research-grade AI to real business impact. Darts 0.45.0 brings comprehensive SHAP explainability support to all Deep Learning and Foundation Models (including TiDE, Chronos, and more). You can now see which input variables contribute most to specific forecasts, making your models more transparent and easier to communicate to stakeholders. • Zero-Shot Forecasting with IBM’s PatchTST Foundation Model: Darts continues to grow its foundation model ecosystem. This release integrates IBM’s pre-trained PatchTST foundation model (260M parameters), joining Chronos, TimesFM, and TiRex already available in Darts. Like the other foundation models, it works out of the box, no training needed, just pass your time series and get forecasts.
