May is Huntington's Disease Awareness Month, and this week we had a powerful opportunity to hear directly from the #huntingtonsdisease community we work for every day, as we welcomed rare disease advocate and author Erin Paterson to our Lexington office for a fireside chat. Erin is gene positive and a caregiver for her father, who is living with HD. She spoke candidly about the challenges of caregiving and depression as well as the power of community and positivity. We are grateful to Erin for sharing her story with us in recognition of #HDAwarenessMonth.
