Recognised by the EU: Our hydrogen projects are shaping Europe’s energy future. 🇪🇺 Three of our hydrogen projects have been awarded Project of Common Interest (PCI) status by the European Union underlining its cross‑border importance for Europe’s energy infrastructure and hydrogen market ramp‑up 🎖 This includes our #Hydrogen import terminal in Wilhelmshaven, where we have recently launched an Open Season to engage market participants and enable capacity bookings, as well as our #H2 storage projects in Epe and Krummhörn. Together, these projects represent key building blocks across the hydrogen value chain, from import to large‑scale storage. With the PCI label, the EU recognises projects that make a significantly contribution to Europe’s energy and climate objectives, from #SecurityOfSupply and system integration to long‑term #decarbonisation. For advancing projects like these and unlocking investment at scale, a robust regulatory framework – combining measures to support both supply and demand – will be decisive. We stand ready to contribute with multiple projects to shaping a resilient European hydrogen ecosystem.
