This is the moment York and Mumbai’s heritage, culture and architecture was brought to life on canvas. 🎨 Two weeks in the making, a 30ft long mural encapsulating the best of York and Mumbai has been unveiled. Produced by Yorkshire artist Lincoln Lightfoot, the piece combines the culture and architecture from both cities, while immortalising our legendary Indian Runner duck, Long Boi, into one striking mural. The artwork will be replicated over 4,500 miles away at the University of York Mumbai campus, which opens its doors to the first students for the 2026/27 academic year this September. Lincoln said: “It was a great thrill to create the artwork for the mural to be reproduced over 4,500 miles away. “I was lucky enough to meet Long Boi before his passing and I believe his legacy will forever have a positive impact on students and local people both here and in Mumbai.” Show some love to Lincoln for this masterpiece. 👏 #UniversityOfYork #UniOfYork #UniversityOfYorkMumbai
