Earlier this month, we welcomed alumni, supporters and friends of York to the House of Lords to celebrate our ambition to become the UK's University of Opportunity. We brought together a remarkable community of people who share a belief that talent and potential should never be limited by circumstance. Throughout the evening, we reflected on York's ambition to become the UK's University of Opportunity, supporting students through access, success and progression. We also heard powerful stories from members of our community that demonstrated the impact of philanthropy across generations. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success, and to Lord Evans of Sealand for his support in making the event possible.
