We recently celebrated The Honourable Catherine Branson AC SC, who will conclude her service as the Chancellor of The University of Adelaide - a role she has held since 2020 - at the end of this month. Chancellor Branson is our 17th and final Chancellor, and she has been an exemplar of all that our institution represents, from academic excellence as a student to leadership at the highest level. Under her Chancellorship, the University embarked on one of its most transformative chapters, the historic merger with the University of South Australia to create Adelaide University. Her career has been a trailblazing journey through the highest echelons of Australian law, public service and civic leadership - having been a former Crown Solicitor of SA and CEO of the Attorney-General's Department, as well as the President of the Australian Human Rights Commission. She is a source of inspiration to students, staff and alumni of the University and the contribution that she has made to the South Australian society and beyond is truly extraordinary. Thank you Chancellor Branson, for your leadership and commitment to our University.
