History made 🎓🎉 Last week marked the conclusion of our graduations for March and our last ever as the University of Adelaide. The hugs, tears of joy, rounds of applause and smiles from family and friends are a testament to the hard work of over 4,900 graduates. We now welcome them to the new Adelaide University alumni network, which is more than 430,000 strong, and we wish them every success in the future 👨🏻🎓👩🏼🎓 These ceremonies also gave us the opportunity to award our final Honorary Doctorates, the highest recognition the University can bestow. Emeritus Professor Janice Reid AC was awarded for her transformational leadership in the higher education space for more than 40 years, as well as being an advocate for equitable access to education. The Honourable Catherine Branson AC SC was awarded for her groundbreaking legal career, along with her outstanding service to the University as council member and the University of Adelaide’s 17th and final Chancellor.
