And it's a manual I'm sure we'd all like a copy of. 23 years since graduating, he's transformed his human resources startup into a $2-billion empire. We had the pleasure of welcoming Ben back to our Armidale campus last week as the Occasional Address Speaker for the Faculty of Science, Agriculture, Business and Law graduation ceremony, and it was wonderful to hear about how his time at UNE shaped his path to success. For our graduates, he has one piece of advice: "It doesn't matter what your marks were at university, you've got a lifetime of achievement ahead of you. Find a problem that you really care about and love and work on it for decades."
