📢 UniCredit has been selected to take part in the digital euro pilot project alongside six other Italian payment service providers. 🏛️ The pilot will involve 36 payment service providers selected across the euro area and will be carried out in cooperation with Banca d'Italia - Eurosistema and the Banca centrale europea, with the experimentation phase scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027. 🔧 Contributing to this stage means helping European and national institutions define the standards, processes and use cases for the pilot phase of one of the most significant projects for the future of digital payments. 📌 #UniCredit #DigitalEuro #Payments #Innovation #Europe
