Westfield Parquesur’s iconic lake area has officially reopened after a major refurbishment, further cementing the centre’s position as one of the premier shopping and lifestyle destinations in Madrid. The lake’s terraces have been completely redesigned for year-round use, while the dining offering has been significantly enhanced with the arrival of Beata Pasta, Chuloo, llaollao® and Perritea. A grand reopening ceremony was held on Thursday, led by Miguel Ángel Recuenco, Mayor of Leganés, and Marta Nieto Novo, Director General of Commerce and Services for the Community of Madrid. The evening culminated in a concert by Spanish rock band Despistaos and a spectacular fireworks display. Over the coming 10 days, visitors can enjoy a programme of surprises to celebrate the reopening, including discount booklets for loyalty members, free brand experiences, live DJ sessions on the lake terraces every weekend, a cooking demonstration by MasterChef winner Chef Carlos Maldonado, and a performance by TikTok stars Twin Melody.
