Happy Birthday to Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier! It’s been a year since the retail opening of our mixed-use destination on the banks of the River Elbe in Hamburg, so this weekend we hosted a massive celebration featuring live music, dancing, fashion shows and more – all in cooperation with our retail partners and brands across the quarter.   Over the past 12 months, Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier has firmly established itself as an integral part of the city. Confirming its positioning as a vibrant retail and lifestyle hub for the local community, it has welcomed 12 million visits over the past year, a clear testament to the popularity of its diverse offer. The retail destination sits alongside neighbouring residential developments that have been operational for over a year and is home to our anchor office tenant, Shell, at The Yard. More than 50 ships have already docked at the cruise terminal, bringing visitors from around the world to discover the destination. Further office and hotel developments are under way, strengthening the district’s long‑term momentum.
