Rohingya families remain trapped in uncertainty while the world’s attention shifts elsewhere. Nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees remain in Bangladesh, most living in camps in Cox’s Bazar after fleeing violence and persecution in Myanmar. Humanitarian support has helped save lives and provide education, healthcare and protection. But needs remain immense and funding cuts are putting critical services at risk. As conflict continues in Myanmar, prospects for return remain out of reach. The world cannot look away. Rohingya refugees need continued support, protection and the chance to one day return home safely and with dignity.
