Early pregnancy. Gender-based violence. HIV. Health misinformation. For millions of young people these are daily realities impacting their education, safety, access to life-saving services, and future opportunities. That is why UNESCO's Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future (O3) programme is working across 35 sub-Saharan African countries to strengthen young people’s health and well-being through life skills–based HIV and sexuality education, empowering them to make informed decisions and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. With the support of France, Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland, O3 is strengthening national policies, training teachers, and building more resilient communities — one school at a time.
