Millions of girls and women remain underrepresented in #ICT and #STEM, with gaps that emerge early in education and limit future opportunities. Closing the digital gender gap requires transforming education systems through gender-transformative and inclusive approaches. Teachers play a key role in creating learning environments that support girls’ confidence and participation in digital skills. UNESCO Ghana , with Beijing Normal University University (BNU), INRULED, and the Government of Ghana, is working to strengthen teacher training and advance gender-transformative digital education that empowers girls and supports more inclusive learning systems. UNESCO calls for investment in inclusive, gender-transformative education so every girl can learn, participate, and thrive in the digital world.
