#Newresource 🌱🌱 Restoring forest landscapes is a long-term process shaped by ecology, local knowledge, and sustained community engagement. In Cameroon, the Ebony Project — led by the Congo Basin Institute (CBI) in partnership with local communities, researchers, and private-sector actors — combines restoration, agroforestry, ecological research, and livelihoods support across the Dja and TRIDOM landscapes. The initiative also contributes to broader efforts to strengthen forest resilience and ecological connectivity in the Congo Basin. šŸŒ Experiences from the field continue to show that durable restoration efforts depend not only on planting trees, but also on supporting the ecological and social systems that allow forests and communities to thrive over time.
