Deflagration testing (UL 9540A:2026 Annex C) A full-scale ORI 5MWh system was tested with real lithium-ion cells driven into thermal runaway, evaluating gas release, accumulation and ignition under severe conditions. The system maintained structural integrity, with controlled pressure relief and no secondary hazards — demonstrating predictable and engineered system response. Large-scale fire propagation testing A multi-container ESS configuration was subjected to an extreme fire scenario to assess propagation, thermal impact and system-wide performance. Results showed no fire spread to adjacent units, maintained key safety functions and preserved structural stability — validating system-level safety architecture.
