🛟 The Ukrainian Red Cross team participated in large-scale emergency response exercises in the Cherkasy region   Representatives of the Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross took part in multi-agency emergency response exercises organised by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.   🌊 The exercises focused on emergency response scenarios involving incidents on and around water. Aircraft, watercraft, unmanned systems, specialised equipment, and emergency rescue units were deployed during the training.   During the practical phase, emergency responders practised evacuating casualties from the water, deploying airmobile teams from helicopters, extinguishing fires, and conducting search-and-rescue operations in challenging conditions. The Ukrainian Red Cross team received simulated casualties, conducted triage, and provided first aid and psychological first aid.   💪🏻 Participating in exercises of this kind helps strengthen coordination with emergency services and refine joint emergency response procedures.
