From Chevening fellow to cyber security leader in India’s Ministry of Defence -- for Vivek Yadav, the Chevening Cyber Security Fellowship was instrumental in helping him build long-term relationships with global cyber security leaders and leading UK institutions, and government partners. Today, Vivek is at the forefront of India‘s digital and AI agenda, serving as Director for IT and Cyber Security at the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Chevening network has continued to shape his career long after completing the fellowship. Through the global alumni community spanning governments, universities, and international institutions, he has gained access to trusted peers around the world. Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships and fellowships programme. Chevening scholars return home to use the knowledge, skills, and networks they gain in the UK to influence positive change.
