Working together, Commonwealth countries can boost economic transformation, tackle climate change and natural disasters and create opportunities for future generations. Last year, His Majesty the King and India’s Prime Minister Modi gifted each other trees as part of PM Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, reflecting their shared commitment to environmental conservation. Collaboration on climate and clean energy is a key pillar of the Commonwealth and the UK-India partnership as set out by our Prime Ministers in Vision 2035.
