AI research company Anthropic opens its first office in Bengaluru, marking a major step in its India journey. Anthropic has made a commitment to making AI truly inclusive, and are investing deeply in improving Claude’s language fluency across 10 widely spoken Indian languages. Earlier this year, the UK's Department for Science, Innovation and Technology announced a partnership with Anthropic to build an AI assistant for the UK Government’s official website -- GOV.UK. Anthropic is a member of the UK-led AISI Alignment Project, an international coalition of government, industry, and philanthropic funders fostering collaboration and providing financial support for AI research.
