Scientific Conference by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) and the French National Academy of Medicine: On Day 1, Session 2 of the scientific conference, presentations were given on the topic of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) by various expert speakers, including: 1. Dr. Krang Sidonn, who shared insights on: "The Current State of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in Cambodia." 2. Dr. Anne Laure Banuls and Dr. Cheng Sokleaph, who shared insights on: "Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in the Context of One Health." 3. Dr. Alexandre Hobeika, Dr. Ly Sowath, and Dr. Sieng Téphanie, who shared insights on: "Antibiotic Use in Cambodia." 4. Assistant Professor Bory Sotharith, who shared insights on: "Implementation of Antimicrobial Stewardship to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance." Following the presentations, a discussion forum was held, moderated by Assistant Professor Bory Sothavieak and Professor Patrice Debré. It should be noted that this scientific conference is a two-day event featuring the sharing of scientific knowledge and new research findings. It also provides an opportunity for Cambodian speakers and medical professionals to discuss and exchange ideas on research related to four plenary sessions: 1) Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), 2) Human Papillomavirus (HPV), which can cause cervical cancer, 3) Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer), and 4) Diabetes.
