Megalabs Venezuela is a big player in the South American pharmaceutical industry: 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 8,000 employees are engaged in research and production at 17 locations. And the 18th site is already under construction! 🏗️ It will start operations in Caracas (Venezuela) in October 2026. To ensure first-class pharma packaging, Megalabs is relying on Uhlmann and its BEC 300 blister line. At the new plant, the BEC 300 will package tablets such as blood pressure medication and pain relievers in blister packs and folding cartons. The line offers outstanding speed, reliability, and quick format changes. To ensure everything runs smoothly later on site, a Megalabs team recently traveled to Laupheim for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
