Yesterday after the YOUTHS FOR NEW NIGERIA conference, interviews, autographing copies of my book for buyers, and strategy meetings, I retired late in the night, to my hotel room. 🌟And this morning I received a call from the former candidate from Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District. “How much is a copy of your book?” “$8” “Okay, I’ll send my driver to pick up a copy right away, can you come with him?” “Yeah, sure” “I love the book. See you shortly” I had liked this man right away: after his in-depth analysis of the role of the youths in governance. In addition to his presentation, his wise demeanor, gift for capturing societal solutions in simple yet deep statements, I saw a man who is really disposed to helping the youths. On arrival at his house, the hospitality from his household staff was amazing and we ended up discussing everything from academics, to politics. And as usual—when men of value connect, transaction and transformation must happen, we had an agreement that I will be invited to train his strategy team using my Leadership Consulting firm—SIRPETER’S ACADEMY as the relationship takes a higher dimension.
