This week we welcomed 30+ students aged 16 to 18 to Amazon's London office for a Student Diversity Day, delivered in partnership with the Naz Legacy Foundation. š Organising this day was a real privilege. Our mission was simple: open the doors, demystify careers in tech, and inspire the next generation of talent. The students got stuck into: š¹ A hands-on generative AI workshop, where they learned about prompt engineering and Responsible AI, then built their own no-code AI apps š¹ An introduction to Amazon's T-Level and apprenticeship programmes š¹ A tour of our London office š¹ Candid networking with our brilliant degree apprentices Seeing students light up as they built their first AI app, and hearing them ask our apprentices about their journeys, was the real win. A huge thank you to the incredible team who made it happen: Speakers and organisers: Fam Kha'lique, Neveen Elasar, Mohammed Asadulla Baig, Seham Shah, Rushmila Akhond, Francois Xavier Fringant, Sarah B., Shayhana M., Tahiyyah Begum, Bilal Mohammad and Savera . A special thank you to David Hardcastle for sponsoring and delivering the keynote on the T-Level Programme. And thank you to the Naz Legacy Foundation for the partnership. Days like this are a reminder that a few hours of our time can help a young person picture a future they hadn't imagined yet. š” #DiversityInTech #Apprenticeships #GenerativeAI #AWS #Amazon #TLevels
