Hello friends! I’ve been rather quiet here because life has been anything but quiet 😆 Here are some recaps from Hilary term at Oxford as I get ready for Trinity: - Selected to participate in a hackathon convened by the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford ’s Tech & Justice Institute & Microsoft’s AI For Good Lab, where I leveraged my OSINT & language skills to stress test new AI tools - Finished my tenure as YPFP’s Geostrategy Rising Expert, ending with an article on how Kazakhstan is benefiting from the Great Power Rivalry - Attended the Munich Young Forum at the Munich Security Conference on invitation from Eisenhower Fellowships where we discussed everything from defense technology innovation to the war in Ukraine - Survived Ramadan while studying full time & working part time, during which I raised funds to feed Afghan families affected by poverty as a partner with Aseel - Celebrated Nowruz, Eid al-Fitr, and my birthday (all on the same day!) - Traveled to 9 countries, including four new ones (Hungary, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia) The next few months will be similarly packed with travel, fellowships, publications, and conferences, so stay tuned ✨
