Yesterday marked a unique moment for healthcare innovation in Bavaria: the kickoff of the Healthcare Innovation Program at TUM Venture Labs under the patronage of Bavarian Minister of Health Judith Gerlach. Having been a student in this program myself, it was a special moment to return and now present a challenge from real clinical practice in women’s health. We are sitting on an enormous opportunity to rethink how we use data to improve outcomes for women and newborns and to build meaningful solutions around it. Excited to see what the next generation will come up with 🚀. Women’s health needs it. A big thank you to Bavarian Minister of Health Judith Gerlach and the Bavarian Ministry of Health Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Gesundheit, Pflege und Prävention for emphasizing how important it is to translate research into real-world care. And to TUM Venture Labs — especially Tobias Döringer— the ecosystem here is truly unique. The combination of clinical excellence, technology, and entrepreneurship makes Munich one of the strongest places to build and implement meaningful healthcare solutions.
