Today I had the amazing opportunity to present at an event with Ofsted alongside David Hillier and Julian Redding!🫰 I ran two 75-minute build-from-scratch sessions where we implemented Appian’s Doc Center and Agentic AI (live!) into a working demo. No pre-built flows. No polished shortcuts. Just real configuration, real orchestration, and real outcomes. There’s something compelling about building in real time. It demonstrates how quickly you can move from an unstructured document intake problem to a governed, intelligent workflow. Doc Center continues to stand out. The ability to ingest, classify, extract, and route documents within a controlled process, without stitching together multiple tools, is hugely powerful for organisations managing complex submissions and regulatory workloads. And Agentic AI goes beyond surface-level automation. Embedded directly into the workflow, it can reason over process context, support decision-making, and reduce manual effort in a meaningful way. Grateful for the opportunity to present, and proud of how the sessions came together. 150 minutes of live build, strong engagement, and some thoughtful conversations afterwards.
