Day 01 of me trying to vibe code a fintech app using the free Griffin sandbox So I've decided I'm going to try and build a crowdfunding platform! Basically, businesses will create profiles when they're fundraising and people can choose to invest! The platform holds the money until the fundraise is done. Easy? Not really. Anyways, today was planning day! Here's how I went about things: 🧠 Context - word on the street is that context is king when it comes to vibe coding. So I set up a dedicated Claude project to keep all the context in one place. 🏗️ Architecture plan - Claude helped map out features, the tech stack, and how it'll connect into Griffin for the bank accounts and payments. I even asked Claude to rate how good it is at the programming languages it recommended. It said it was very good. I was immediately convinced. 💰 Flow of funds diagram - this is super important in fintech, you need to know exactly how money moves and where it sits at all times. Tbf I had to hold Claude's robotic hands through this one - easier than getting it to learn and apply all the regulation. Day 01 vibes - Time spent: 30 mins - Optimism: 10/10 - Actual coding: lol, none Next up: Time to actually start some coding!
