It is hard to describe what it was like to watch my friend Kirsten Davies have her hearing to consider her nomination for the role of #CIO for the United States Department of War today. Serving our great country has been a dream of hers, and watching that dream come to fruition today was awesome as her friend. To quote her statement given today, “People know me as a leader with a unique blend of heart and head…”. I can’t think of a better way to describe this amazing lady. Huge congratulations my dear cyber sister, it has been a journey, and I am so honored to have been able to walk beside you as your friend, and celebrate you today.
