Last week, I had the chance to present my project at the Fischell Institute for Biomedical Devices!  Over the summer, I joined the MIRAGE Lab to explore engineering solutions to reduce traumatic brain injury risk. With Dr. Davis McGregor, PhD's mentorship, I studied the potential of 3D printed materials to both monitor for impacts through resistive sensing, and help absorb energy using auxetic lattice architectures. I learned so much about additive manufacturing, latticing, experimental design and conductive materials at the MIRAGE Lab. It's been an honor to join the lab! Thank you all for such a wonderful internship!!
