Yesterday we took a break from screens, coding, and stand-ups to celebrate the midpoint of the summer internship with a proper social. It was great to get together with the interns away from the desk and into a more relaxed setting. These moments really do matter. It was a chance to catch up, share a few laughs and see everyone outside of the usual office rhythm. We were also really pleased to be joined by some of our CADP interns from Edinburgh who made the journey through to Glasgow for the occasion. A great reminder of the wider intern community we’re part of across locations. As for the bowling… let’s just say the interns have nothing to worry about from me on the leaderboard. With just a few weeks to go, the second half of the internship is now in full swing and I’m excited to see what’s next.
